In Valdaora the "Standlschmaus" gastronomic festival is very popular and it takes place in July. Autumn is also rich in gastronomic festivals: the "Lamb Weeks" in Val d´Ultimo, the "Canederli & Canederli" (German: "Knödel & Knödel") festival on the Alpe di Siusi (German: Seiser Alm, Ladin Mont Seuc) in September, the various cattle festivals, which feast its comeback from the shepherds´ huts and the "Kirchtagmichl" festival in Alta Pusteria (German: Hochpustertal) in October…it´s up to you to choose!
